Southwest Liturgical Conference Announces 2025 Study Week: “In Communion with Christ: Joys and Hopes for All” The Southwest Liturgical Conference (SWLC) along with the Diocese of Victoria is proud to announce its annual Study Week, scheduled for February 5-8, 2025 in Victoria, Texas. Themed “In Communion with Christ: Joys and Hopes for All.”
For more than 60 years, the Southwest Liturgical Conference has gathered Catholic liturgical specialists at the national, regional, diocesan, and parish levels for ongoing formation, the development of new leaders, and the fostering of the liturgical renewal within our region’s multilingual and multicultural context. Its annual Study Week was the first in the country to take up the Second Vatican Council’s call to aid the People of God in becoming “thoroughly imbued with the spirit and power of the liturgy,” and has developed into an unparalleled opportunity to learn, grow, and build community with fellow workers in the vineyard. In 2024, hundreds participated in-person and virtually
at SWLC’s Study Week 2024 in Oklahoma City, and plans are already underway to meet in Santa Fe, N.M, for Study Week 2026.

La Conferencia Litúrgica del Suroeste (SWLC) junto con la Diócesis de Victoria es orgulloso de anunciar su Semana de Estudio anual, programada del 5 al 8 de febrero de 2025 en Victoria, Texas. Con el tema “En comunión con Cristo: alegrías y esperanzas para todos”.
Durante más de 60 años, la Conferencia Litúrgica del Suroeste ha reunido a católicos especialistas litúrgicos a nivel nacional, regional, diocesano y parroquial para formación, el desarrollo de nuevos líderes y el fomento de la renovación litúrgica dentro del contexto multilingüe y multicultural de nuestra región. Su Semana de Estudio anual fue el primero en el país en aceptar el llamado del Concilio Vaticano II para ayudar al Pueblo de Dios al quedar “completamente imbuido del espíritu y poder de la liturgia”, y ha se convirtió en una oportunidad incomparable para aprender, crecer y construir una comunidad con compañeros de trabajo en la viña. En 2024, cientos participaron en persona y virtualmente. En la Semana de Estudio 2024 de SWLC en la ciudad de Oklahoma, y ya hay planes en marcha para cumplir en Santa Fe, Nuevo México, para la Semana de Estudio 2026.
