Step One— Contact Civil Authorities

 The Texas Department of Family and Protective Services 24/7 hotline number is 1-800-252-5400. 
 If the child or vulnerable adult is in immediate danger, call 911.  Non-emergency reports of child abuse can also be reported to www.txabusehotline.org. 

Step Two— Contact one of the following: 

• Coordinator of Pastoral Care and Outreach,  at (361) 827-7186 or email pastoralcare@victoriadiocese.org; 
• Bishop or Chancellor of the Diocese of Victoria at (361) 573-0828.

We will also help you bring your concerns to church officials outside the diocese if the abuse occurred elsewhere and you now reside in the Diocese of Victoria.
