Sandy Higgins

Sandy Higgins is the Director of the Office of Worship for the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston. She has a Masters in Theological Studies from the University of St. Thomas in Houston and a bachelor’s degree from Loyola University in Chicago. She is married to Deacon Mike Higgins and has four children.

The proclamation of the Word of God is a vital ministry in the church, for through it, we grow in wisdom and faith. How can I prepare so that the Word of God can reach the hearts and minds of the faithful? This workshop will delve into important ways that lectors can improve their preparation.
