Principal- St. Anthony Catholic School, Columbus, TX
St. Anthony Catholic School (SAS) established in 1956 is approaching 60 years of providing a Catholic education for the children in the Columbus area. John O'Leary has had the privilege of serving as the SAS principal starting in 2002 for the past 12 years. He is a life time member of the St. Anthony Catholic Church.
When the SAS opened in 1956, John was a first grader and graduated from SAS in 1965. His education continued at the Columbus High School and he graduated in 1969. After high school, John extended his education by attending Sam Houston State University in Huntsville and graduated in 1973. His teaching, coaching and administration career began in the Columbus ISD in 1974 and concluded in 2002.
