Pope Francis, on Feb. 15, announced the appointment of the Very Rev. Gary Janak, pastor/rector of the Cathedral of Our Lady of Victory and Vicar General/Chancellor for the Diocese of Victoria, as the new auxiliary bishop for the Archdiocese of San Antonio.
