  The Office of Youth Ministry provides a variety of resources for ministering to young people. 
There are programs and activities for a variety of age levels.
 We assist in the formation and training of adults who minister to youth.

Functions & Services Provided by the Office of Youth Ministry

  • A summer camp program for elementary and junior high aged young people
  • A youth leadership training program for high school and college aged young people
  • A high school summer retreat in Pagosa Springs, Colorado
  • A retreat facilitated by the National Evangelization team in the summer
  • Scheduling for the National Evangelization Team retreats in various parishes in the diocese
  • An annual high school rally
  • An annual junior high rally
  • A certificate in Youth Ministry Studies program for adults
  • Offers on site training in parishes as requested
  • A biannual trip to the Region X Youth Conference
  • A biannual trip to the National Catholic Youth Conference
  • A biannual trip to the National Conference for Youth Ministry
  • Young adult events
